Exclusive Complimentary Private Hire
for Registered Dog Rescues
At It's A Dog's Life, we recognise the dedication and emotional work that goes into helping dogs find their forever homes. To support local rescue efforts, we offer complimentary private hire sessions to registered dog rescue charities, giving dogs a secure environment where they can play, train, be assessed, or simply enjoy a positive experience in a different environment.

How It Works
Each registered rescue is offered one complimentary one-hour session per week, subject to pre-booking.
-
Sessions are private and are supervised by the rescue's own staff/volunteers
-
Booked in advance - a regular weekly time slot can be arranged, or a booking code can be provided for online use.
-
You can use the space in whichever way best supports your rescue's needs - whether that's confidence building, recall training, group play, assessment, or simply giving dogs a break from the kennel environment.

Whats Included
Your rescue dogs will have access to a private, enclosed play space which locks from the inside. It provides dogs with the option to explore different areas, including our enrichment room and indoor soft play area. It's a great environment to allow dogs to move freely, try out new experiences, or practice skills such as recall training or scent work. The space can be used for individual dogs or small groups, giving rescues flexibility to support their dogs in whatever way best suits their needs.

As an OCN (L3) qualified groomer, Wendy also offers complimentary Rescue Welfare Grooms (comfort first) under this scheme, which are carried out at the dogs pace, using a calm and understanding approach.
